Anders,
I have found that what is okay for the FCC is okay for Industry Canada.
As I understand it, reverse anything is still considered a unique
connector. Contact Dan Sigouin at IC for confirmation.

Subject: Canada requirement in RSS-210

http://www.ieee-pses.org/symposium

Dear group,

We are designing a WLAN accesspoint 802-11 b and g and want to approve
it for Canada.

My question is regarding the requirements in standard RSS-210, is it
allowed to use a reverse polarity SMP antenna connector to meet the
requirements in section 5.5 in standard RSS-210 (this approach is
allowed by FCC for the US market)?

Thanks for your help!

/Regards
Anders
