Group, Has anyone had trouble finding a PTC (or similar Listed device) rated adequately to function in this application: * it will be the first component at the input of an automotive aftermarket product rated Vin = 8 to 30Vdc and Iin = 1A * the product receives power through a cigar lighter adapter which provides no voltage regulation, so the PTC or other device could have surges of 40Vdc passing through it.
