Doug Not directly, but I can well remember, from many years ago at a previous company, a case where a sub-contractor wiring harness manufacturer used the wrong solder (he ran out of the correct one) and we then had multiple hi-pot failures due to the residual flux breaking down. This was across the pins of an IEC 60320 power outlet socket, not on a PCB.
