I wanted to let everyone know that there were a limited number of CD's
still available from the 2004 IEEE Product Safety Symposium. Until 31
August 2004 you can order them off of the Symposium registration site at
http://www.ieee-pses.org/symposium/ just click on the "Purchase the CD"
link on the top right of the page. We will be posting all comments and
surveys to the community website.

Here are some quotes about the technical sessions:

Positive --
1. Good presentations & technical sessions
2. Excellent speakers
3. Diversity of presentations
4. Many interesting topics on short notice
5. Informative presentations, good questions & dialogue
6. Fresh perspectives on safety elements
7. Great balance in technical sessions -- safety engineering, standards and
compliance
8. Presentations were fine

Negative --
1. If possible reduce to 2 parallel streams, so we can catch more
presentations
2. Make each presentation more free-standing (not linked to adjacent talks)
3. More presentations aimed at the new product safety engineer
4. Have exhibits closer to speaking rooms
5. Allow for more time between presentations
6. Cover other topics -- more than just shock & fire
7. Paper handout would allow for in context margin note taking
8. Be more stringent on cell phones going off in a workshop
