A colleague asked about regulations for short range devices in Columbia. He would like to use a device similar to devices allowed by FCC 15.247 (902-928 MHz, frequency hopping, 1 W eirp). Does anyone know a link to the regulations? In English? Is there a rule the same as 15.247? If the regulations are quite lengthy and require translation, can someone define what spectrum is available near 900 MHz for non-mobile phone short range devices with max power and bandwidth requirements? If an approval is required, is there a temporary licensing arrangement for testing systems?
