James, It depends on the standard. Some standards, especially those for household use, define size for the signal words such as "CAUTION" or "DANGER" (typically min. 2.4 mm) and for the size of lettering for the rest of the markings (typically min. 1.6 mm). Other standards, like UL/EN60950 do not have a min. size but specify that they must be in the language of the country where unit is going to be installed. As a user, I would be happy if the markings had a contrasting color with the background and I do not need a magnifying glass or similar to be able to read the markings. Regards, Peter Merguerian
