Job  Tasks  &  Responsibilities:   This  successful  candidate  will be the
architect  of  a  global  strategy to direct an environmentally appropriate
initiative  supporting  development,  manufacturing, shipping, logistics in
the  initial  roll-out and ongoing maintenance of environmentally compliant
power system products for computer, telecommunications, network, HVAC, data
center   applications   and   industrial   applications.    There  will  be
responsibility   for   communicating   and  ensuring  compliance  with  all
applicable  laws  and  regulations  and company policies and process in the
area  of  environmental  compliance.  This person will manage environmental
initiatives  and  interact  with customers, Corporate Communications, Legal
and  other  teams  as  needed  and act in the role of Environmental Affairs
representative  on  extended core teams.  You will interface and coordinate
with  national  and international regulatory bodies and agencies to satisfy
environmental  compliance  requirements,  and other related requirements to
provide technical leadership in this area. The position will be responsible
for  developing  and  implementing  the process, policies and procedures to
effectively  manage,  control  and increase efficiency in the environmental
compliance  process.  It will be their responsibility to ensure that design
criteria, restricted materials and product labeling requirements are met.

Duties would include:
1.    Set documentation standards for environmental compliance procedures
and systems
2.    Secure current and relevant compliance information from agencies;
disseminate those findings to optimize the product development,
manufacturing, logistics, shipping and the release process;
3.    Lead and support the application of environmental compliance
requirements for certification by tracking and following-up on the
necessary documentation and compliance processes.

Qualifications:   Technical degree is required, Masters a plus and  five to
eight years of related compliance experience  in a global company.  Four to
five  years  experience  in  management  of environmental compliance across
functional   areas.    Global  experience  in  power  electronics  a  plus.
Demonstrated  ability  to  ship  product  anywhere  in  the  world while in
compliance   with   global  environmental  issues.    Candidate  must  have
significant  knowledge  of  Compliance  and Environmental issues as well as
Documentation  and  Shipping;  thorough  knowledge  of  local, national and
international  agency  regulations and demonstrated ability to keep current
on  the  global  environmental  issues  as well as train staff.  Ability to
research,  develop  process,  communicate  effectively,  both  written  and
verbally.  The  individual  must  thrive  on  a fast-paced, dynamic, market
driven  environment,  while  being  goal  oriented,  flexible  and customer
focused.    Sound  working  knowledge  of  MS Excel for data collection and
analysis is required.  Domestic and international travel as needed.
