Well, may be I made not clear

that this group acts on behalf of

the European Commission itself…..

The guide to the application of the EMCD

is almost as good as the EMCD itself,

and probably a lot more readable.

My proposition was made to allow

basically everyone to suggest topics

that need an official “application guide”,

to enhance the old guide, and to

make sure any ambiguities removed.

Based on the new text of the EMCD, of course

Well,

I would be cautious with those interpretations.

Especially when it has not been applied yet by anyone...

Subject: RE: New EMCD and APPLICATION GUIDE

As a member of the Dutch National Committee for EMC, I have been

asked to propose a contribution (more honestly : suggest a contribution)

to the new EMC guide.

As you all may know, the EMC directive had some problems in interpretation

and therefore a Guide to application of the EMCD has been published.

Well, based on the new EMCD text proposal, a new guide is being prepared

by a small group of specialists.

This is your chance to make you point, and ask (propose) :

“anything you always wanted to ask about the EMCD, but were to afraid to
ask”

I’ll make sure that your ideas questions, suggestions will be fed trough

the new Guide writing group, to be implemented in the new guide.

BUT , read the new EMCD proposal first !!

The current revision version is 8.
