Fellow List Peoples, For testing audio - video equipment according to EN 60065 : 1998, Annex C describes a band-pass filter used to filter wide band noise during measurements (using pink noise as the signal source). Annex C is apparently extracted from IEC 60268-1 and the filter characteristics appear to be from IEC 61260. Question is, does anyone know of a source of ready made band-pass filters fitting the criteria described?
For testing audio - video equipment according to EN 55013 : 2000, Figure 1 Colour bar signal levels according to ITU-R Recommendation BT 471-1 describes a color bar pattern used as a video source during some tests. We have standard PAL and NTSC color bar generators, but cannot find one that has the ability to turn off individual color bars as it would appear the Figure 1 is asking us to do. Is anyone aware of any commercial equipment that can generate the pattern described in the figure? We would prefer to not have to design and build our own test equipment so commercial sources would be appreciated. One alternative we might consider is a DVD recorded with the above audio and video signals on it, both individually and then together. Any takers on producing one?
