I have been writing again this month, a little later than normal as I
was teaching in Oxford and Bristol on England.

My Technical Tidbit article this month discusses a method of locating
ESD events that is fast and easy to perform. Locating (and
eliminating) ESD events is critical for manufacturers of sensitive
devices and in mission critical equipment installations. The link is

Abstract: ESD and other impulsive events can be physically located by
using time of arrival of the generated EMI at multiple antennas as
displayed on a fast  digitizing oscilloscope. In field conditions, the
method described is fast and accurate.
