As others will tell you, the equivalent of BS7671 (the UK IEE "Wiring
Regulations") is the "Canadian Electrical Code" (CEC)- but it looks and is
very little like 7671 or any other European wiring regulations standard. It is
more closely related (dare I say this as we have Canadian contributors!) to
the US "National Electrical Code" (NEC) than to any European document.
