In catching up on my reading of posts, the monopole antenna pattern discussion in recent weeks led me to do an internet search on the topic. One of the first to pop up was
https://ewhdbks.mugu.navy.mil/RADIAPAT.HTM which has patterns for several idealized antennae. http://www.rfcafe.com/references/electrical/antenna_patterns .htm seems to have either been the source for or plagiarized the Navy site With some 11,000+ hits, you could spend all day poking around.
