I have designed a small AC inverter for use in the domestic (specialist) hi-fi market, but need to be sure about standards and safety implications before I commit myself to a finished product.
EN60065 for audio and video equipment seems like the most relevant safety standard, though there is nothing specific on inverters, and EN55011 class B (domestic) as a base for emissions. Does anybody know of more relevant standards, and are there other compliance issues (LVD and EMC etc) I need to consider before I can be confident about a new product? Many thanks.
