Dear Colleagues We are about to receive a new environmental chamber and that means our old Espec PRA-2GP (circa 1991) has found itself homeless. A heart breaking story I know.
We would be willing to give this unit to somebody who will provide it a decent shelter but there is a condition. To qualify you must be a small company who could use this equipment to help develop your products. This is not for somebody to treat as a windfall just to take it and then just sell it off. Please respect that request, and do not try to acquire the unit unless you qualify. The company taking this unit will be responsible for removing the unit from our premises. We are located near Toronto Canada. About the unit: It is an 8 cu ft model floor standing model 92 cm W by 90 cm deep by 205 cm high (on casters) I would hazard a guess that is it at least 300 kg but that is just a WAG It only runs temperature (the humidity section actually runs too, but if you do, you will find that the stainless steel inner liner has failed and water >from the humidity system leaks like a sieve internally into the chamber's insulation and onto the floor so that should be fair warning) This unit power requirements are 208V 60 Hz 3 phase (or remove the fancy add on transformer sitting on top and it would be a 230V 60HZ single phase unit) Disclaimer Who we give this chamber to is our decision alone and any and all request(s) for this unit need not be accepted by us.
