I have a data transponder that will be sold to the Australian military. The device is self-contained, remote-controlled, with internal backup batteries, although it also connects to the mains powerlines. The device acts as a modem, transferring data from an Ethernet cable to a 20 Watt (peak) 250 MHz (approximately) RF transmitter / receiver. It will be mounted in a tower hut in physically remote regions, and will use an omnidirectional antenna mounted high atop the tower.
A customer document says that, although Australian C-Tick formal compliance is not needed, the device must "meet the C-Tick technical requirements." So, fellow adventurers, what types of technical requirements do you see in my future? Thanks in advance!
