Hello good people, Our power cord manufacturer told us that the Japan Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) told them that if our importer imports cord sets from our company for the purpose of bundling them with our product, as long as our instruction manual states that the cord set is specifically for use with our product and not with any other product, then the PSE marking and the importer's name on the cord set are exempt.
Is this exception valid? I have a hard time finding a power supply cord that employs a NEMA L6-20P plug that has PSE approval in the US. I appreciate any comments that you might have.
