Hi all When determining insulation and creepage/clearance you use a "reference voltage".
In § 20.3 (concerning insulation test voltage ) it say that the voltage is a arithmetic sum of ex. prim. voltage + sec. voltage. (EX.: A PSU fed with 230 Vac and a sec. of 30 Vdc will give 260 V over the insulation) But in §57.10 this method is not described when using "reference voltage" for creepage/clearance. Would it be OK to use the 230 Vac to determine the distance ?
