Greetings group members,

One of our product groups has an essential requirement to test their product
in our factory. The product is a European transmitter and is centered on US
Public Safety frequencies.

We are confident that we have a "compelling showing" per 47 CFR 5.85(d) for
operation on these frequencies and have a legitimate application for
Experimental Authority in this band.

The problem is that we are extremely resource-strapped and we need someone
that can see this through.

The proposed consulting position would be responsible for:

1) Coordinating with the Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials
[APCO] to obtain a recommendation on frequency [at least 1 channel in the
band] for application to the FCC.

2) Working with the product group to submit the application with the FCC.

3) Act as a liaison with the ELB to resolve any issues that arise during the
application process.

4) After the frequency is granted, perform a comprehensive coordination with
the appropriate frequency coordinator and/or all of the public safety
licensees in the intended area of operation [Boca Raton] per 5.85(d).

5) Whatever else it takes to ensure compliance with the rules and to obtain
permission to operate on at least 1 channel in the band.

If anyone is interested, or knows of a group or individual that provides this
type of service that would be, please give me a call or email me.

Best Regards,

Mac Elliott
