Engineer. 

This professional will be responsible for leading the efforts in the
coordination and management of regulatory, safety, and standards compliance
activities for Garmin consumer products.  This includes working with various
departments to identify compliance requirements and design testing plans,
coordinate testing activities, review compliance testing results and
internal and external compliance reports, accomplish declarations of
conformity according to regulatory requirements, stay abreast of changes and
new requirements that affect Garmin consumer products and communicate these
requirements to other departments.

Qualified candidates will possess a BS in Electrical or Mechanical
Engineering or related experience and a minimum of three years Compliance
Engineering experience or equivalent, including experience with CE, FCC, UL,
e-mark, SAE and other approvals.  Acute business judgement, strong
communication skills, analytical problem solving skills, and the ability to
stay motivated and work independently and across functional and
organizational boundaries is a must.  5+ years experience working in an
electronics manufacturing environment and previous experience with the
functions of this position are preferred.
