I am very familiar with DO-160, but would like to talk to someone
knowledgeable about FCC Part 15 testing for aircraft equipment.  Could someone

Doesn't Section 15.103a specifically exempt digital devices used in motor
vehicles and aircraft from the Part 15 technical requirements (except for
still being subject to 15.5 & 15.29)?
