I helped move a copper screen room while I was in Fort Worth. We'd moved our lab and gotten better chambers built there. The one I mention was transferred to another group, who actually did all the grunt work. Since I had *built* that chamber (from pieces of two very old Lindgren chambers of different sizes) I didn't hesitate. It was moved >from the basement of one building to the 10th floor of an adjoining one that shared a common basement. (If you remember the Tandy Center you know what I mean.) Because of its origins, it never had to meet any particular shielding standard, which was a good thing, as I never got better than about 60 dB from it. That said, there's no reason a chamber of better quality could not be brought up to 100 dB with some care in reassembly. As I recall, there was already electrical service enough that the new owners had no need to specify it; their EUT's and instruments needed nowhere near what was already installed. The possible exception might have been 220V 50 Hz, which was from a remote rotary converter. I know ours was brought up to the new chambers we got. Removing and replacing anechoic materials adds a whole new set of headaches, though. I'd want to contract that case out.
