Advanced Compliance Solutions is currently seeking a motivated Product Safety
Engineer. ACS is an independent test lab in the North Georgia area, ideally
situated on the fringe of the Atlanta northeast metro area, near Lake Lanier
and the North Georgia mountains. ACS is an Underwriters Laboratories CAP-EA
certified agency lab, and a TUV Rhienland N.A. Partner Test Lab. Under these
programs, ACS works with our clients to obtain NRTL Listings of high tech
products, specifically information technology equipment, telecommunications
and CATV equipment, laboratory, measurement, and process control equipment,
audio / video, and medical devices. In addition to providing agent services
for our clients, ACS assists clients with global regulatory compliance and
provides solutions to mitigate product non-compliances. ACS is a small but
fast growing company with a particular emphasis on providing excellent
customer service.

The candidate should be experienced in performing product safety evaluations
to U.S. and international standards, with specific experience with UL/IEC/EN
60950-1 and associated standards. Excellent project management and
communications skills are required to be successful in this position.
Candidate should posses a 4 year engineering degree and have at least 3 years
experience in the industry. Preference will be given to NARTE certified
Product Safety Engineers. Experience in other product categories is a plus.
Experience working within agency-certification programs, such as UL’s CTDP,
is also a plus. An ideal candidate has experience from both the engineering
development side and the agency side, enabling him or her to provide good
service to our clients and NRTL partners alike.
