Hello good people,

Are you aware of any lab (does not have to be located
in the US) that knows how to obtain the RRL and MIC
approvals needed in Korea? RRL is the telecom
approval for network equipment and MIC is the EMC
approval for ITE.

Regards,
Sylvia

Subject: Korea Approval In USA

Hello,

I wanted to share this information with the group. I
found a test lab in the USA that is designated by
Korea to perform EMI/EMS testing on ITE and telecom
equipment. I just completed a project with them, and
it saved me both time and money by not shipping the
units to Korea to be tested. They were very helpful
in getting my project done in a timely manner.

Electro Magnetic Test, Inc. is located at 1547
Plymouth Street, Mountain View, CA 94043.
www.emtlabs.com, Contact is Jay Gandhi, Tel:
650-965-4000, Fax: 650-965-3000, email:
[email protected]. I was told EMT is the first 100%
US owned lab (no foreign subsidiary) in the USA to
receive designation from Korea.

Regards,

Tim Pierce
