Thanks, however I've already tried that search and none of those standards seem to pertain to graphical symbols used on ITE equipment. There is one standard in that search, IEC/TR 60878 for the medical equipment industry, that I was hoping to find something equivalent for the ITE industry. Still haven't found anything. If anyone has any other ideas, please let me know. Nick: The IEC has published several documents concerning graphical symbols. Here is the search result using the phrase 'graphical symbols': http://www.iec.ch/cgi-bin/procgi.pl/www iecwww.p?wwwlang=E&wwwprog=seabox1.p&seabox1=graphical+symbols Pat Lawler EMC Engineer Condor DC Power Supplies "Momcilovic, Nick" <[email protected]> Sent by: [email protected] 08/18/2005 11:17 AM To: <[email protected]> cc: Subject: RE: Information Technology Symbols There has to be some standard out there that has standardized the symbols used on ITE equipment? Nick -----Original Message----- From: Momcilovic, Nick Sent: Monday, August 15, 2005 11:11 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Information Technology Symbols Does anyone know where I can find standard symbols for various types of input devices on pc's (keyboard, mouse, fire wire, com ports, modem, ethernet, etc.)? I checked IEC 60417 & ISO 7000 and couldn't find anything in those two standards. Thanks in advance for your help.
