Hi Richard, YES - you're right the marking is required now, sorry for being unclear ;o) Also as Chris previously mentioned the marking is the only way to notify that the product has been marketed after 13th Aug 2005. Putting a new label on a product is fairly easy, but there is more to it than that. I just wanted to point out that several countries has yet to implement the remainder of the WEEE directive like registration and scrapping facilities and clear statements about status for it.
