Zhang It might be that your customer is requiring the red/black color from the Australian telecom standard. I don’t know what standard it is but -48 V indicates telecom to me. Hard to get or not you should get the right colored cable just from a functional safety point of view.

But our costumer in Australia has asked for the red and the black colour, which has been hard to get. We have the red colour for the highest voltage and the black for the lowest voltage. That is in the apparatus used as -48VDC supply Best regards Niels Hougaard EMC Engineer, B.Sc.E.E Scientific-Atlanta Denmark A/S Tel +45 39 17 08 47 Fax +45 39 17 00 10 Mailto:[email protected] http://www.scientificatlanta.com <http://www.scientificatlanta.com/> From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Zhang Guoqing Sent: 28. oktober 2005 13:49 To: [email protected] Cc: [email protected] Subject: one question Hello all, Can anyone in the community tell me what is the correct color for cable in the negative DC voltage equipment?
