Hi Anders Antenna information on WLAN (a part 15.247 device) is found in 15.203 and 15.247. The collocation of antenna(s) has been dealt with primarily in the FCC/TCB workshops. You will not find actual rules for this in the CFR, as they are more the FCC interpretation of how to handle multiple antennae. One basic rule of thumb from the FCC is that antennas that have more than 20cm separation are generally considered not to be collocated. Less separation and collocation begins to be a concern.
Depending on the power level and antenna configuration (portable or mobile) the FCC may have to certify this directly. If you wish to send more particulars about the system to me offline, I can look you situation over and possibly give a more definitive answer. I`m tried to find out the FCC regulation/requirements about collocated antennas that i heard about? I have not find it in the FCC regulation yet, Anyone who can help and know what the requirements are or can point out where I shall find the requirements in the FCC regulation? I`m also intresting if anyone can share his experience to certify such product and/or experience about the distance needed between the antennas to avoid that WLAN and WCDMA/HSDPA disturb each other etc. All inputs are welcome!
