Sudhakar,

Mexico NOM is based on customs tariff codes. Based on the tariff code, customs
agents can bar a product from entry if it has not been NYCE or ANCE certified
for electrical and electronic products. The customs tariff code determines the
standard or standards required by various governmental agencies and whether
there is a limitation on voltage. Some of the tariff codes state that NOM has
to be applied for voltages above 25 V. Others have no limitations on voltage.
