EN 61010 section 5.3 calls for an alcohol rub test of labelling to test
durability of markings. We use self-adhesive plastic labels which stand up
well to the test. What doesn't work for us at the moment are the paint pens
used to mark the equipment modification state.

Has anyone found a marker pen that will stand up to this test? We'd rather
not resort to embossing or punching if we can find a gentler alternative.
