If your facility and processes have been audited, and you have a formal procedure for "verification", and you control how the "verified" instrument is labeled and used, and "verification" is well defined by your procedure, then it has been my experience that NCBs and other certified bodies accept equipment "verification".
General suggestions: 1. Talk to the people that conduct TMP, SMT, etc audits of your company. 2. Read IEC 17025, and give close attention to the requirements of 5.4, 5.5, and 5.6 3. Review each requirement on your audit report form and/or the audit checklist. luck, Brian From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]]On Behalf Of wendy Sent: Wednesday, September 21, 2005 1:52 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Calibration required for equipment used for verification purposes?
