Hy Keith,

that is our database system. Our internal quality process is:

Step 1: EU Commission publishes a new list (e. g. yesterday a new list for
construction products, ALSO with MISTAKES!!!)
Step 2: Our Manager Regulations & Standards looks in our ETSI/CEN/CENELEC
database to control wether this standard reference exist (date of
publication, version numbers, "date of cessation", ect.)
Step 3: If we state "mistakes" or "abnormalities" in the OJEU publication we
send e-mails to the Commission and/or ETSI/CEN/CENELEC for confirmation.
Step 4: We make comments for the users in our compliance database (that is
the "legal" need for the users) and makes "yellow symbols with regard to
transition periods => date of cessation of predessor documents" OR "red
symbols for abnormalities" in the database.

That is the reason that we are in discussions with the EUROPEAN Market
Surveillance Authorities to introduce a "quality system for OJEU
publications of CEN/CENELEC/ETSI references"!

Example: Never ending story of EN 292-1, -2 (Machinery Safety!). The
followers EN ISO 12100-1 and -2 a recurrently NOT published in the OJEU.
Therefore EN 292-1 and -2 are still applicable for CE marking (that is
explained in the database).

That is "one" example of a long list!

Mit freundlichen Grüßen
Yours sincerely
