Hello, FYI, both ANSI and CISPR have greater than 1 GHz site validation projects in process. Contact Mike Windler for ANSI or Clark Vitek for CISPR. Regards, Ken hall

The tests include - Part 90 TX measurements [700 / 800 MHz] - up to 30W - both TX ERP and spurious emissions - EN 300 086 testing for products similar to those above - Part 15 TX / RX measurements [possibly for Bluetooth / WLAN] - Digital Unintentional emissions We are following the lead of some of our internal colleagues and specifying the chamber performance from 30 GHz - 40 GHz. Typical chamber acceptance performance tests for EMC chambers include site attenuation measurements up to 1 GHz. Our questions are: 1) Does any one out there have a chamber out there used for similar purposes that have insight into some do's / don'ts of chamber design for this purpose? 2) Is there a minimal performance criteria that needs to be specified apart >from site attenuation? Example - what is the minimum reflection off the back wall that would impact TX measurements [or unintentional measurements for that matter] above 1 GHz? 3) Does anyone have any suggestions or insight on what may be appropriate performance specifications to guarantee the above requirements, if any? 4) What would be an appropriate test to specify to verify the performance of the chamber above 1 GHz? Any insight / suggestions / horror stories would be appreciated.
