Information available on speakers and talks: 
"RF Safety – Guidelines, directives & measurements". Hugo Bibby is the
Technical Director for Link Microtek safety products. He has worked in the RF
and microwave industry for over 20 years. Hugo was initially involved with the
design and manufacture of high power travelling wave tubes for military radar
systems.  More recently he has been involved with test and measurement
instrumentation, working largely with the telecommunications industry.  Hugo
has written a number of articles and papers on RF safety measurement equipment
and survey techniques and has been a speaker at various RF safety &
measurement seminars.  The talk will be an overview of the ‘EMF Directive’
2004/40/EC (minimum standards for worker safety), exposure guidelines for the
general public, and current measurement technology 

"In-situ RF testing". David Imeson graduated from Leeds University with a BSc
in Engineering and has  been in the electronics industry for more than 35
years, 27 of them with IBM where he was EMC Manager. He has formed his own
consulting company, Compliance Europe Ltd and also acts as a consultant to
Hursley EMC Services Ltd.  He runs the EMC Test Labs Association (EMCTLA) and
is chairman of the European EMC Competent Bodies (ECACB). He was a member of
the SLIM Working Group that redrafted the EMC Directive and is now working on
the Guidelines to the new directive. 


The afternoon event is an open meeting.  All welcome.
There is no charge for meeting attendance.
