There is an IC manufacturer in South Africa who addresses
the "normal household" Electric Power Meter market.

  SAMES
South African Micro-Electronic Systems
  http://www.sames.co.za

[Delay was due to the fact that I couldn't find their name,
even after spending 1 hour at GlobalSpec's website.
Luckily, another system here in the office had their spec
sheets and URL]

As I recall their website had papers discussing all the
compliance requirements they met.

The idea is that a supplier to this industry would probably
highly tout which specs they meet, and therefore which
specs you need to meet.
