Almost all standards do not mention specific third-party approvals. 
There are just a few that do, practically forced to by national 
legislation.

What 60601 requires is that the connector meets the appropriate 
standard. If you have a document from ANY recognised authority saying 
that the connector meets the relevant standard, that is enough.
