I subscribe to a service from a consultancy in the Washington DC area that sends me a new CD-ROM every other month with the applicable (and then some) sections of the FCC Rules. Changes are highlighted at the beginning of the database.
Another way to track the FCC Rules is to go to their web site and sign up for the FCC Daily Digest. You’ll get an e-mail every day with a listing of everything the FCC is doing. Look for proposed changes and notification of changes (Report and Order). The changes noted in an R&O go into effect after publication in the Federal Register. You can subscribe to an e-mail service where the index of the Federal Register is e-mailed to you daily (don’t remember how, sorry). You then check the FCC section and see if there is any news on the item of interest. I know it’s a pain, and that’s why I subscribe to the Pike and Fisher service noted above. Ghery S. In the past I have asked the O.E.T. but received a reply that the only way to track the changes was to read the entire document. Any ideas.
