Brian - I'm not aware of any particular requirements for carbon monoxide, though the poisonous nature leads me to believe warning markings are appropriate.
As for hydrogen, you at least need to be aware of NFPA 50A, Standard for Gaseous Hydrogen Systems at Consumer Sites, and NFPA 50B, Standard for Liquefied Hydrogen Systems at Consumer Sites.
