Hello all, Well....it happened to me too. Friday morning I was talking to my contact at the lab to schedule some lab time in May...two hours later I'm turning in my card key, picking up my stuff and driving home. You know, the funny thing is, when the time comes; all I could say was "I'm sorry" for any of my own shortcomings over the years; "I'm thankful" for the 11 years of employment; and "Good Luck" to the guys who remained. Anyway, here I am. In a nutshell, I hold an MSEE degree with post graduate work in EMC, Power Supply Design and Digital Signal Processing. My most recent work experience was 10 years of being the sole contact for EMC and Product Safety at the former Laser Precision, aka Nettest (New York) Inc. I also performed some design work, specifically DC/DC converters, battery chargers and power path control. I'm not at a place in my life where relocation is desirable; but travel is OK. I'm located in the central part of New York State (USA). I'm 70 minutes >from Syracuse, 80 minutes from Albany four hours from Boston...and 37 hours >from my last job :-) Anybody wishing to contact me can use: Phone: 315-891-3710 or 315-845-6337 email: [email protected] I think that such "will work for food" messages are OK on the listserv...if not, please accept my humble apologies. Happy Easter everybody. Chris Maxwell The opinions expressed in this email are definitely mine; since I don't work for anybody anymore :-) - ---------------------------------------------------------------- This message is from the IEEE Product Safety Engineering Society emc-pstc discussion list.
