POSITION SUMMARY: Requires the review and confirmation of Supplier’s environmental compliance data to support “Design for Environment” initiatives to meet with global regulations pertaining to Restriction of the use of certain Hazardous Substances (RoHS) in electrical and electronic equipment. Responsible for providing final chemical reviews and approvals of parts/materials/components that are used to build electronic products. Review of IPC-1752 Class 2 and 6 forms received from suppliers. Will interface with suppliers to collect and verify data received to ensure environmental compliance and work closely with global products engineering, regulatory, components, and parts release personnel to confirm data accuracy as part of the Declaration of Compliance process to release compliant products and to ensure due diligence.
