_____ From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of UMBDENSTOCK, DON Sent: Wednesday, May 24, 2006 9:31 AM To: [email protected] Subject: antenna gain The FCC specifies antenna gain in rules such as 15.247. Gain can be measured in different ways. So I asked the FCC directly, what method do they use? The response was "industry standard". Does anyone have any idea what the "industry standard" is for determining the gain of a 900 MHz patch antenna? Does it make a difference whether it is linear or circular polarized for the "industry standard"?
