While the intention is to try to avoid any changes to IEC 60950 and to concentrate instead on the standard that will replace, it, some changes cannot be ruled out. See: http://tinyurl.com/gprf8 in the public part of the IEC web site. Note that there are maintenance result dates in 2007 and 2008, which may trigger changes. On the other hand, nothing is under way at present.
