Subject: October 2006 IEEE EMC Silicon Valley Chapter meeting. Topic: the
replacements of CISPR 13 and CISPR 22

Dear IEEE member,

For October, IEEE EMC Society, Santa Clara Valley Chapter will have our
meeting on Tuesday October 10th starting at 5:30pm.

This meeting should be very interesting for those of you who involve in CISPR
22 and CISPR 13 testing.

IEEE EMC SVC chapter is honored to have one of the experts from CISPR working
group (WG2) who has been involving in developing and advising the industry on
the replacement of the well-known CISPR 13 and CISPR 22 standards with new
CISPR 32 and CISPR 35.

The talk will provide an insight into the new standards and what will likely
change.

Additional information will be provided on

1) How the above 1GHz were set

2) Will telecommunication line emissions still be required on Ethernet
ports

3) Will immunity be required above 1GHz

We should have good responses from EMC society for this meeting. Please try to
get in early.

Please see attached October newsletter for agenda and location.

Hope to see you there.

Regards,

Tony Permsombut

Secretary, IEEE EMC Society, Santa Clara Valley Chapter
