Group Members, I need to assess the probability of interference from a cell phone or Blackberry device operated near a possible electronic (but non-antenna connected) victim. What specs and standards govern the maximum ERP from a cell phone, or field intensity, if it is specified that way? What frequency ranges are allowed? If there are different bands of usage, does the ERP/field strength emitted vary as a function of different spectrum occupancy? What kind of modulation is used? I am not looking for a detailed discussion of CDMA or other techniques. I am interested in the effects on a possible victim electronic circuit nearby. Does the modulation look like AM, or cw, or pulse? If it looks like anything besides cw, what are the approximate parameters of the AM or pulse modulation?
