Dear Members,
FYI. The latest testing fee for China CCC certification applications has been promulgated October 17, 2006, which can be found at: <http://www.cnca.gov.cn/cnca/zwxx/xwdt/zxtz/6524.shtml> http://www.cnca.gov.cn/cnca/zwxx/xwdt/zxtz/6524.shtml . The first attachment is the table of content of the schedule fee, which can be found at: <http://www.cnca.gov.cn/cnca/extra/col7/1161831862.pdf> http://www.cnca.gov.cn/cnca/extra/col7/1161831862.pdf . The second attachment is the schedule fee (183 pages, 6.34MB), which can be found at: <http://www.cnca.gov.cn/cnca/extra/col7/1161832144.pdf> http://www.cnca.gov.cn/cnca/extra/col7/1161832144.pdf . It takes a little while to download this file. The unit for the fee under the fourth column is Chinese currency RBM. The last row of each table (product category) is the total test fee in RMB (if all test items apply). Since the files are written in Chinese, it may be easier for you by looking test standards (GB4943, GB9254, GB17625.1, etc.) and guessing. Here is an example (page 94 of the file): for a micro computer (its power supply has been certified), test standards are GB4943 (IEC 60950), GB9254 (CISPR 22), and GB17625.1 (61000-3-2). Total test fee is RMB 14760. Among them, harmonic current (61000-3-2) is RMB1000 (the row next to the last). Line conducted emission (0.15-30MHz) is RMB1200. Radiated emission (30-1000MHz) is RMB3000. All of the other test items are for Safety. This schedule fee is mandatory by the Chinese government. All of the Chinese labs must base on this fee schedule. An applicant should expect the same testing fee from different labs. The only possible difference is the engineering judgment for test items applied. If you need look for GB standards from the SAC web site ( <http://www.sac.gov.cn/> www.sac.gov.cn), since SAC re-design their web site, instead of clicking the icon located at the upper right corner, please clicking the icon located at the bottom left corner. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
