To be honest, I was not aware of the existence of such a document 
(and if it's truly elusive one wonders how much use it is anyway!).

My take was rather less from the perspective of electrical equipment 
and more with reference to some of the other CE marking directives 
(it was actually a gas appliance which initiated my original 
investigations into this topic) and hence a CENELEC document, while 
interesting, is somewhat less relevant since CENELEC only deal with 
electrical equipment standards.

It's some years since I last looked at this in detail and it sounds 
like it's time to re-visit the subject. I'd be grateful for a 
citation for the CENELEC document so that I can try to obtain a copy, 
and indeed, refer to it on our site. I also note that the link to JSP 
375 is now out of date so that needs to be updated as well.
