EMC Design Engineer

(Member Technical Staff)

Sunnyvale, CA HQ

As an EMC Engineer at Juniper Networks, you will be working as part of a
multi-disciplinary design team involved in product development from conception
through final release, ensuring that EMC compliance is designed-in. You will
work with development engineering teams on EMC issues at the PCB and system
level. The ability to work well with this team to achieve results that meet
all disciplines needs is key. The position requires a BSEE and 7+ years of EMC
system design experience with the design of large, high speed (
multi-gigahertz) digital systems. Responsibilities include designing printed
circuit boards, chassis, and power systems for compliance with international
EMC standards and GR1089. You must have experience reviewing schematics, PCB's
and mechanical designs for EMC compliance, and be able to perform EMC testing
and troubleshooting. Knowledgeable in the use of Spice, and electromagnetic
simulators along with common lab tools including Spectrum Analyzers, TDRs, Net!
 work Analyzers, VNAs.
