All Someone pointed out this clause in the New EMC Directive: Article 14 Repeal Directive 89/336/EEC is hereby repealed as from 20 July 2007. References to Directive 89/336/EEC shall be construed as references to this Directive and should be read in accordance with the correlation table set out in Annex VII. Does this clause mean that there is no reason to re-issue declarations of conformity to quote the new directive number once the transitional period has ended? Furthermore as far as I can see the clause only appears in the EU version of the directive, not in the UK Statutory Instrument - any comments? Thanks. Ian Gordon
