Does anybody on this group have any experience or knowledge of testing to the Japanese standard ARIB STD-T66, in particular clause 3.2 (9) Process Gain? This parameter does not seem to appear in any US or EU standards, and the test house that we are using (one of the best-known) has little or no experience of this particular test. One report that they have been able to look back at incudes some 'factors' but there is no explanation of where these come from. Is there a relationship between the rate at which data is being fed to the link and the effective transmission rate resulting from errors? Is there a normal relationship between the data rate and the spread-spectrum bandwidth? Any help would be much appreciated. Best regards
