Yes, modems and IEEE 802.11 WLAN are required to be certified for sale in the Vietnam market. These requirements were implemented in November of last year. Vietnam Regulatory Agency: The Ministry of Posts and Telematics (MPT) of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam. Telecom & Wireless products require MPT Type Approval. IT Products require a Manufacturer's EMC Declaration of Conformity (DoC) and a MPT Registration.
