It was that d... MS word spell check that changes the word luminaires, and
for a non english man this is not always easy to know what is right and
wrong

The F mark is called up by a STANDARD, IEC/EN60598-1, not a Directive,
and there is no question of involving a test house.

I don't know what you mean by 'what about F marking for built-in.' If a
luminaire is 'built-in', presumably it is already mounted on a suitable
material.

By the way, the word is LUMINAIRES, not 'luminaries', who are 'prominent
people' or 'VIPs'.
